12/15/06: Two months. I've had my first retightening and my progress is great. At this point, I'm still discovering what works when it comes to styling and what doesn't. I haven't tried to do much other than braid, twist and set on Soft Spikes. And this side part ain't goin' no where for now. Of course my styling options are somewhat limited since I'm no where near fully locked but I'm anxious to try new things (within reason of course). I know I have to respect the limits of my baby locks and not venture too far out.

I traveled to California and my family (sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews) had some interestng things to say about my hair. I'll blog about that next.
